MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in the Consett area. The role will be working as a sheet metal worker, including operating of Machinery and Weld practices.
The Job Youll Do;
We are looking for candidates with Sheet Metal & MIG Welding experience.. The role would see you carrying out general duties such as Welding and Fabrication.
- Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
- To help prioritise workloads within the department
- MIG Welding Mild steel products
- Operating Bending machines and fabrication machinery
- Working with thin plate
- Working withing correct tolerances
- General fabrication duties
- Quality inspection of a range of components
- Manual Handling with heavy lifting
- Maintain the companys health & safety standards at all times
About You;
- Previous experience in MIG welding experience
- Previous Sheet Metal experience (Ideally thin plate)
- A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
- Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
