The Job you will do
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of panel builders, wirers and manufacturing operatives, creating a positive culture of quality, safety and accountability.
- Be aware of daily workloads and targets to ensure the panel shop meets the agreed production schedule and delivery requirements.
- Monitor production progress throughout the day, identifying potential delays and taking corrective action early.
- Ensure panels are built accurately and consistently in accordance with drawings, wiring schematics, specifications and company procedures.
- Carry out regular in-process and final quality checks, ensuring workmanship meets company and customer requirements.
- Ensure the correct materials, components, tools and equipment are available to support production.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, health and safety and general shop-floor discipline. xgikmsk
