Job Description
The Company
Our client is a market leading engineering company due to new business they require a Planner.
The Role
- The role will plan and coordinate maintenance and engineering plans.
- Maintaining efficient performance and engineering products availability.
- Will support the company planning including materials, engineering capabilities and company time lines.
- Ordering stock.
- Forecasting any spares issues and ensuring health and safety documentation.
- Support works order closure when technical issues arise.
- Master data creation.
- Provide general support to business helping to resolve issues and other ad-hoc requests.
The Person
- This role requires a strong understanding of planning and inventory management.
- Engineering knowlage would be benificial.
- It also requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- A level (or equivalent) business qualification is desirable or proven work experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience working with Supply Chain KPI’s.
- IT skills i.e. MS Office.
- Customer orientated.
- Ability to organise and prioritise.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Capacity for analytical thinking.
