You will be working for a well-established and highly successful North-East based recruitment agency. The role will provide an incredible opportunity to learn about manufacturing and engineering while supporting a fast-moving and high-volume recruitment operation.

As an On-Site Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting a key client's recruitment operation within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Your duties will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment life cycle, from receiving vacancies to arranging line trials and new starter inductions.
  • Completing daily candidate searches to ensure engagement with the best production operators and FLT drivers on the market.
  • Conducting telephone screening and interviewing processes to short-list the best candidates for your client.
  • Working closely with the internal compliance team to ensure all candidates are taken through our robust compliance process.
  • Recording all candidate data accurately within the CRM system.
  • Confirming all candidates for on-site line trials and providing timely feedback to the client and to the candidate.
  • Meeting new starters to ensure a smooth hand-over to the client.
  • Supporting any worker queries, requests and information.
  • Monitoring and managing worker absences, including completing return to work interviews and exit interviews.
  • Providing effective and accurate communication with any production supervisors and team leaders, where required.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service at all times.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong desire to work in the recruitment industry.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and understand the importance of your role.
  • Highly IT literate with experience working with different computer systems.
