Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 17.00, Friday 8.30 - 16.00.

MTrec Technical are proudly partnering with a prestigious manufacturing client, based near Newcastle, with their plans for growth and expansion by recruiting a permanent Sales Coordinator to join their team. Our client has undergone significant growth over the past few years as it expands its product offering and customer portfolio. You will be joining a very secure business, with fantastic opportunities to develop your skills alongside experienced industry professionals. The Job You’ll Do:

  • Handling inbound customer calls related to specific product enquiries
  • Preparing tailored quotations based on customer requirements
  • Communicating with customers about projects, lead times, delivery updates, and technical support
  • Collaborating with the design team to cost and quote projects
  • Processing and coding orders for handover to operations
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships through aftercare support (returns, technical assistance, reorders, etc.)
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure lead times are met and deliveries are completed in full and on schedule
  • Producing project take-offs by converting schematics into accurate, functional quotations

About You:

  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing or another technical industry preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of relevant software tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
