MTrec are currently recruiting for a highly successful engineering firm based in the Washington area.
The Jobs You’ll Do:
- Following both basic engineering drawings and schematics
- MIG welding of mild steel products
- TIG welding of stainless steel
- Burning, chamfering, gouging, arc air gauging and plasma cutting
- Measuring and completing preparation work prior to starting the welding process
Experience with working with mild and stainless steel is very advantageous for the role.
About You:
- Ideally should have followed engineering drawings
- Must be able to work both individually for long periods of time after training, and in a team
- Should be comfortable working on a day shift only role
- Should be time served with certifications
- Ideally should have served an apprenticeship; however, candidates who have previous experience and have not completed an apprenticeship can be considered
