Our client are market leaders in their industry sector. They are looking to recruit an Industrial Engineer on a temporary/ ongoing contract basis. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency within our clients operations. Leveraging the companys core attributes of Innovation and Excellence, Sustainability, Customer Focus, Diversity, and Collaboration, you will optimise processes and systems to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. This is a development role and the successful candidate will be provided on the job training.

The Job you'll do:

  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality, adhering to the companys commitment to excellence and sustainability.
  • Analyse workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions that achieve productivity and cost targets.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation projects within the Interior Experience division.
  • Utilise data analytics and modelling techniques to support decision-making processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage industrial engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to develop and refine quality control processes that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement systems to monitor product quality and proactively address any issues.
  • Strive to balance economical, environmental, and social considerations in line with the companys sustainability goals.
  • Foster effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver superior customer-focused solutions.

About You:

  • Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in process optimisation, project management, and quality control within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
