You will be joining a fast-paced, dynamic company, with an excellent team-based culture and huge opportunities to progress your career. The Job You’ll Do:
- This is a predominantly field based role, based at customer sites nationally and occasionally internationally
- Maintenance, installation and upgrades of electrical panels and switchboards
- Fault finding, testing and repair
- Supervision of all personnel working in the Company workshop and on Client sites/vessels, including Company employees, Contract & Subcontracted personnel
- Maintaining safe working practices and ensuring all employees, contractors and visitors are operating within the company’s Health & Safety policy rules
- Final testing of equipment, updating basic drawings in AutoCAD and EPlan, ordering materials, assisting with onsite surveys and costings for quotes
- Producing job specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), on site permits and policing POWRAs
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards, ensuring PPE is maintained and used correctly
- Verifying Employees and Contractors time sheets
About You:
- Time served apprenticeship, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Previous electrical marine, offshore or oil & gas experience (desirable)
- Able to understand & interpret electrical schematic drawings
- Successful candidates must be able to work flexibly and unsupervised
- The ability to form strong and long-lasting customer relationships
- Full Driving Licence
- Willing to travel nationally, and occasionally internationally as required
