The Job You’ll Do:
- Set, program, and operate CNC Milling machines
- Produce a range of parts from fabrications, castings, and forgings
- Loading materials, selecting proper tooling, setting machine offsets, and running production batches
- Identifying and resolving issues with tooling, materials, or programming errors
- Adhering to site safety and quality standards
About you:
- Time-served (Machine Shop apprenticeship)
- Experience with milling machines or horizontal borers
- Able to set one-off jobs
- Programming skills (FANUC)
- Measurement skills with manual equipment (dimensions and surface finish)
- Able to read engineering drawings
