We are recruiting for our client who are specialists in their market sector, they are looking to recruit a Business Developer/International Sales person on a permanent basis.

- The Job you’ll do
- Our client is looking for an experienced salesperson with an inquisitive nature, an eye for technical detail and the ability to identify opportunities and solutions for our wide-reaching client base.
- The suitable candidate will have previous international customer service and marketing experience.
- Ideally from manufacturing industry and be confident in dealing with government authorities, Design Consultants, Contractors, OEM’s and clients from all over the world.
- Be able to create quotes quickly, having liaised with suppliers and collating all information.
- Follow up enquiries, put together tenders.
- Find new leads, assisting with marketing and news stories.
- Backtalking figures, costs with euros, working with the current exchange rate and inputting margin on top.
- Abel to recognise when selling is required or more relationship development.
- Be process driven from start to finish (clients ring up with a concept and you will need to talk them through the process).
- Consultative sales process, mapping out opportunities with individual clients both regionally and globally building a long-term pipeline.
About You
- Candidates will ideally be degree qualified and comfortable working with engineering drawings.
- Be happy to commit to significant oversees travel (circa 1 week per month).
- Previous client facing experience.
- Candidates should be comfortable being a self-starter and working in a standalone role.
- Understanding of dealing with different clients and cultures across the globe.
- Be able to work at a high level of accuracy.
- Work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Computer literate.
- Creative and confident, be inquisitive.
