Salary/Rate: £17.33 - £23.11/hour

The role will be working on permanent nightshifts.

The Hours: Monday to Thursday, 20.00pm till 07.00am, 4 nights only.

MTrec are currently recruiting for a highly successful engineering firm based in the Newton Aycliffe area. We are looking ideally for a time served plater with experience in heavy plating and welding; however, we will consider highly skilled time served fabricators.

The Jobs You'll Do:

  • Following both basic engineering drawings and schematics
  • Heavy plating of structural steel
  • Creating frameworks and beams
  • Fabricating own bespoke units
  • MIG welding of products
  • Marking off products and executing drawings
  • Using a range of fabrication machines
  • Cutting, measuring and operating various machinery to shape products

About You:

  • MUST be able to follow and interpret technical drawings
  • Must be able to work both individually for long periods of time after training, and in a team
  • Should be comfortable working different shifts
  • Should be time served with certifications
