MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent QHSE Engineer (Quality Bias) to strengthen their team. If you are an experienced Quality biased professional, apply now for an immediate response!

The job you'll do:

  • Support delivery of project quality requirements, manage documentation, and drive closure of NCRs
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure customer and regulatory quality expectations are met
  • Compile and manage project quality documentation / MDRs
  • Prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality plans
  • Raise, manage, and close NCRs and corrective actions
  • Support internal and client inspections and audits
  • Review supplier and subcontractor quality documentation
  • Assist with document control and record retention
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Liaise with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
  • Review welding documentation (WPS, WPQR, welder qualifications)

About you:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or Quality (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Understanding of quality documentation and NCR processes
  • Basic knowledge of welding documentation (WPS, WPQR, welder quals) or willingness to learn
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working across departments
  • Quality or welding inspection background
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Proactive and keen to learn
  • Methodical and well organised
  • Interested in building a career in Quality / Engineering
  • Exposure to full project lifecycle quality activities
