MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious Engineering client, based near Washington, with their plans for growth and expansion, by recruiting a permanent Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities include:
- To be an operational member of the design team to ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.
- Concept system design including circuits, pumps, tooling and fabrication.
- Produce engineering calculations to ensure specifications are met.
- Produce detailed drawings, general arrangement drawings, P&ID drawings and bill of materials using AutoCAD Inventor.
- Complete engineering and project documentation to ensure continued compliance with ISO standards and CE marking directives.
- Lead on design reviews to communicate system design to full project team.
Requirements:
- An appropriate Engineering related degree is essential (Mechanical Eng or similar).
- Previous relevant experience within a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
