The job you'll do:
- Producing schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, general arrangements, cable block diagrams, cable schedules etc.
- Attend customer reviews to satisfy customer requirements for design
- Prepare Bill of Materials, Design Intent Document, cable sizing calculations
- Provide Technical support for site
- Ensure compliance with customer technical specifications and Design Intent Documents
- Compliance with the department processes and procedures
- Abide by all Business Compliance requirements in line with Company policies
- Actively support the continuous improvement of Engineering systems and processes
- Mentoring of Design Engineering staff
- Assist with in-house training initiatives
About you:
- HNC or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
- Positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Be able to work to deadlines and as part of a team
- Willing to travel to site throughout the UK
- Willing to work to develop knowledge and understanding of other job functions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills at all levels
