The role will lead a team of skilled operatives and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. /p p If you meet the person specification below, apply now for an immediate response! /p p b The Job you will do: /b /p ul li Lead, motivate and manage a team of panel builders, wirers and manufacturing operatives, creating a positive culture of quality, safety and accountability. /li li Be aware of daily workloads and targets to ensure the panel shop meets the agreed production schedule and delivery requirements. /li li Monitor production progress throughout the day, identifying potential delays and taking corrective action early. /li li Ensure panels are built accurately and consistently in accordance with drawings, wiring schematics, specifications and company procedures. /li li Carry out regular in-process and final quality checks, ensuring workmanship meets company and customer requirements. /li li Ensure the correct materials, components, tools and equipment are available to support production. /li li Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, health and safety and general shop-floor discipline. /li li Work closely with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management and Quality teams to resolve production and technical issues. /li li Support the team with panel building and wiring activities where required, particularly during periods of high demand or on complex builds. /li li Identify training and development requirements within the team and support the development of skills and future supervisors/leaders. /li li Conduct regular 1:1s with team members, provide feedback and address performance or capability issues where required. /li li Investigate recurring quality and production issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions. /li li Drive continuous improvement across productivity, quality, cost, lead times and manufacturing processes. /li li Monitor agreed production KPIs and provide clear updates to the Production Manager on performance, issues, risks and resource requirements. /li li Promote a right-first-time approach and ensure non-conforming work is identified, controlled and reworked appropriately. /li /ul p b About you: /b /p ul li 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations – BS 7671 (desirable) /li li HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering (desirable) /li li NVQ (2356-99) Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Installation or Maintenance. /li li C G 2391 Inspection Testing. (desirable) /li li Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems and manufacturing processes. /li li Full UK driving licence. /li li Proven experience working within an electrical panel manufacturing or electrical assembly environment. /li li Previous experience supervising, leading or coordinating a production team. xjlbheb /li li Good understanding of electrical panel construction, control panel wiring, components and manufacturing processes. /li li Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring schematics and technical documents /li /ul br
