The Job You’ll Do:

  • Manage and maintain the customer returns process, including logging, tracking, investigation coordination, and reporting
  • Control and disposition non-conforming / reject material in line with company procedures
  • Ensure traceability and accurate records for all quality-related activities
  • Support shopfloor quality activities and liaise with production teams
  • Support 8D investigations, primarily through implementing and managing containment actions & data collection and evidence gathering
  • Assist in using structured problem-solving tools to identify root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes
  • Create, update, and review manufacturing instructions / work instructions
  • Ensure documentation is clear, controlled, and aligned with current processes
  • Support implementation of standardised processes and best practices
  • Support the calibration system, including: Tracking calibration status of equipment, coordinating internal/external calibration activities
  • Provide general quality support across inspection, testing, and process validation activities where required

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Technician or similar role within engineering/manufacturing
  • Good IT / office skills (Excel, Word, data entry, reporting)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Understanding of technical drawings, BOMs, or assembly documentation
  • Exposure to quality tools (8D, root cause analysis, basic SPC)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
