This is an outstanding opportunity for a string Leader who has an excellent Injection Moulding background.
The Job youll do The Mould Shop Manager is accountable for all product and tooling processes associated with the manufacture of injection moulded components produced from PVC, TPE, GFPA, PA, SEBS, EPDM and FKM.

The Mould Shop Manager is responsible for technical excellence, operational performance and QHSE compliance across three sites.
Ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacture of injection moulded products.
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in line with QHSE policy.
Lead and develop high performing production and engineering teams.
Optimise tooling, cycle times and manufacturing capability.
Drive continuous improvement across all mould shop operations.
Identify and source tool makers for the manufacture of new tools.
Collaborate with tool makers on new projects to identify and mitigate risks to cycle time and quality.
Attend and evaluate trials of new tools to assess performance, function and specification.
Report tooling issues and recommend effective technical solutions.
Act as the companys technical expert on moulding techniques and best practice.
Lead new mould sampling and validation processes.
Lead Production and Production Engineering teams to deliver quality products on time and to cost.
Ensure manufacturing capability is optimised through continual improvement initiatives.
Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure cost control and efficiency targets are achieved.
Foster a strong team culture aligned with company values.
Ensure employees receive appropriate training, instruction and guidance.
Develop capability within Production and Engineering teams.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation.
Drive accountability, performance and engagement across the function.
Ensure products meet customer requirements and Quality Standards.
Maintain compliance with the QHSE Policy across three sites.
Monitor QHSE effectiveness and implement remedial actions where required.
Promote a strong, proactive and open QHSE culture.
Lead regular reviews of QHSE standards and performance.
About You Good standard of general education (desirable to hold a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline) 5+ years experience in a high
- volume manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years at senior level.
Experience working with QHSE standards.
Background in engineering discipline (e. g. time served, production engineering, technical design).
Injection moulding techniques, technical knowledge of plastic engineering moulding machines.
Experience in new mould sampling and validation.
Strong understanding of moulding processes and methods.
Ability to identify and drive continual improvement.
Broader understanding of engineering principles.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
