The job youll do: Work safely, following site rules and health and safety legislation.

Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and minimise production downtime.

Diagnose faults, maintain and repair plant and equipment.

Estimate job completion times and understand the impact of delays.

Report breakdown causes and equipment faults.

Ensure high-quality work adhering to standards.

Assist in developing PPM schedules and moving/installing equipment.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities.

Perform tasks as directed by the Shift Manager/Engineering Manager.

Understand engineering and technical information.

About you: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Maintenance or similar (HNC is desirable) Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical information.

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills at all levels.
