The Job You’ll Do:
- Carry out product tests which are provided by the customers, and in accordance with industry standards
- Review and interpret test plans and related technical documents
- Fault finding down to component level on electronic components from schematic diagrams
- Debugging electronic components
- Soldering and component identification
- Learning the technical aspects of the company’s products
About You:
- Technical qualification in a relevant discipline (Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar), for example NVQ, HNC etc.
- Strong skills in soldering, component identification, and working with small circuitry
- The ability to diagnose and repair PCBs down to component level using a schematic drawing is highly desirable
- Able to use diagnostic equipment
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Have the ability to work within a team environment or individually
- A hard worker, willing to undergo any training required
