The Company

MTrec are currently recruiting for a number of production operators in the Jarrow area.

The Role

  • Working with both batch work and bespoke one-off products
  • Working with hand tools, power tools and drills for securing components into precision position
  • Operation of machinery and making adjustments
  • Manually labouring and transporting materials within the manufacturing area
  • Packing and labelling products, ensuring items are to the standard prior to dispatch
  • Overviewing machinery and making slight amendments to the settings where required
  • Loading and unloading machinery where required
  • Pallet trucks operated for transporting equipment within the local area
  • Completing quality inspections on all materials and completing quality assurance paperwork

The Person

  • Must be able to work a continental shift pattern after successful completion of probation period
  • Able to work both individually and in a team
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
