The Company: MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Hetton area. MTrec are looking for proactive individuals who are seeking an ongoing position.

The Role:

  • Operate timber production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble, finish, and quality-check timber and pallet products to customer specifications.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, sorting, and stacking.
  • Support routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly.
  • Work to production schedules and output targets, meeting deadlines without compromising safety or quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company policies.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and supervisors as required.

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, timber, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
