If you have experience managing HSEQ operations within an engineering/manufacturing business, apply now for an immediate responseThe Job You'll Do: Maintain, develop and continually improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015Plan and manage the internal audit programme and coordinate external certification and customer auditsManage NCRs from investigation and root cause analysis through corrective action, close-out and verification of effectivenessManage and support customer quality complaints and product investigations, coordinating root cause analysis, technical input and formal responses where required.
Work closely with Engineering and Project teams to ensure effective design, document control, inspection, testing, certification and project-specific quality requirements are implemented and maintained.
Maintain effective supplier approval, monitoring and supplier quality processes, including supplier NCRs and audits where requiredWork with Procurement and Engineering to define appropriate verification and traceability requirements for components and outsourced processesMaintain H&S arrangements including risk assessments, COSHH, safe systems of work, workplace inspections, toolbox talks and incident / near-miss investigationEnsure applicable UK Health & Safety and environmental requirements are understood and effectively implemented across the businessMonitor environmental controls including waste, chemicals, oils and other controlled materials, identifying opportunities for improvementDevelop and report relevant QHSE KPIs to Senior Management and ensure agreed actions are progressed to completionPromote a practical culture of quality, safety, accountability and continuous improvement throughout the businessAbout You:5+ years' experience in QHSE or similar management role within an engineering or manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and experience maintaining a certified Quality Management SystemExperience planning and conducting internal audits and supporting external/customer auditsPractical experience investigating non-conformances, completing root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actionsGood working knowledge of UK Health & Safety requirementsExperience of supplier quality, inspection, traceability, certification and document controlStrong written communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsConfident working with personnel at all levels, from the shop floor through to customers, auditors and Senior ManagementAbility to challenge existing practices constructively and follow actions through to effective completionRecognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent),Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001TPBN1_UKTJ
