MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Houghton area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long term position in production and assembly.
The Job You'll Do:
- Assemble electronic circuit boards and perform soldering tasks in line with production drawings.
- Inspect and test PCB assemblies and final products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Carry out final system assembly, including cabling, chassis build, and packaging in a clean environment.
- Accurately pack finished units, prepare for dispatch, and support stock management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with ISO9001, IPC610, and J-STD standards.
About You:
- Ideally, possess experience in an SMT facility or manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills required to operate the SMT line.
- Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skills.
