MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Gateshead by recruiting a permanent Factory Manager. You will be joining an industry leading employer, with an excellent team-based culture and fantastic long-term career prospects.

If you have experience in a similar role within FMCG, Food, reporting to the General Manager, the Factory Manager is responsible for Production, including Warehouse and Hygiene (Dayshift).

  • Proven experience in a Managerial role within Food/Drink/FMCG (highly desirable).
  • Relevant technical qualifications are desirable, but not essential (Degree, HND, HND etc.).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and guide teams to achieve goals.
  • Experience improving processes, productivity and performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
