MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based near Washington by recruiting a permanent Electrical Project Engineer. You will be joining an industry leading company, with an excellent team-based culture and fantastic long-term career prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a range of projects.
- Design and manufacture of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Work closely with estimators to prepare accurate project cost estimates and schedules.
- Develop and review CAD designs and schematics for electrical systems, ensuring all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure designs are translated effectively into final products.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.
- Ensure quality assurance and control standards are met at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within the engineering team.
- Drive continuous improvement within the electrical engineering processes and team.
- Oversee electrical projects from design through to installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- HNC or above in an Electrical discipline is essential.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics.
