MTrec have a new opportunity for a prestigious firm based in the Durham (DH1) area.
The Jobs You'll Do:
- Operating and maintaining embroidery machines to embroider and emboss logos onto clothing
- Operating a range of machinery and hand tools on a daily basis
- Threading reels and items on different machinery
- Uploading various programmes and artwork onto machinery
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults or issues
- Quality inspection of garments, packing, labelling and bagging items
- Working to various production drawings, making sure all specifications are met
- Full training to be provided
- Following strict health and safety guidelines
About You:
- Previous experience in a production or embroidery environment (preferred but not essential, full training provided)
- The ability to understand technical drawings
- Must be able to complete dexterous tasks and have a keen eye for detail
- Excellent attention to detail, with good problem-solving skills
- Good organisation and planning skills
- The ability to work alone or in a team
- No experience needed, full training to be provided
- Physically fit, should be prepared to be standing for long periods of time
