Our client is a successful and established business based in Stockton.
They are looking for an Account Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

- The Job you will be Doing
- Building ongoing relationships with customers to encourage business growth using telephone-based prospecting, educating and selling according to allocated branches and/or campaigns
- Driving sales growth to regular and consistent touch points with necessary contacts in the trade to drive over the counter sales
- Work with the National Trade Manager with regards to marketing in executing tele-sales activity in tandem with marketing communications.
- Identity project leads and facilitate hand over to Trade BDM if required to drive growth.
- Internal account management of over 1000 branches
- Carrying out prospect calls to non-spending branches and prospects
- Account management calls to branches according to call cycles
- Prepare proposals and or quotations for accounts you are responsible for
- Work with National Trade Manager regarding marketing to ensure leads are developed
- Send product information as required
- Hand over meeting requests to the BDM
- Ensure incoming enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Monitor account spends for accounts you look after in conjunction with sales target tracking
- Assist with driving technology improvement to make department more efficient including CRM etc
- Ensure all customer contact details are correct in ERP system
- Provide data and reports for National Trade Manager in a timely manner.
- Assist with telephone answering as required
- Account management of accounts you look after including dealing with queries, quotes, issues and escalated complaints
About You
- Previous customer services or sales training is an advantage
- Proven track record in an internal business development or telesales role
- Previous experience of using Net Suite is an advantage
- Strong team player
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Able to build strong customer relationships
- Be comfortable with outbound calling and prospecting
- Work in alignment with company values
- Adaptable to change in a growing and developing business
