The Job you'll do:
- Undertake Pre-Hire Inspections of Equipment to ensure the required standards are met in terms of functionality, presentation, and serviceability
- Undertake post-hire inspections of Equipment to identify any damage, degradation or lost items
- Undertake routine servicing and general maintenance activities of associated plant equipment
- Working on a variety of general Electrical and Mechanical Systems
- Undertake preparation and reinstatement of products for Annual Insurance Inspections in line with company or Third-party inspectorate requirements
- Where appropriate, provide secondary breakdown support to remedy plant faults in the field
- To assist and where appropriate undertake some commissioning and set to work of Hire Plant equipment on Customers sites
About You:
- Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above)
- Flexibility to travel to customer locations as required, and stay overnight if and when required
- Problem Solving skills
- Motivated, flexible and excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
- Good organisational skills
- Working to own Initiative, with good time management
- Excellent Communication skills (orally and written)
- The role requires an individual to be physically fit, competent in the use of hand tools, power tools etc.
