The Job You’ll Do:
- Responding to client enquiries, tendering activity, and close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Account management of existing customers, ensuring their requirements are met and new project opportunities are identified
- Responding promptly and professionally to all incoming enquiries
- Providing accurate product information and guidance to customers
- Preparing and issuing customer quotations with a high degree of accuracy
- Liaising with existing customers and supporting order activities
- Processing customer orders, deliveries and queries
- Working closely with engineering, operations and senior management
- Representing the business professionally at customer meetings
About You:
- Proven experience within a Technical Sales/Sales Engineer role
- Relevant technical qualifications (Degree, HNC, NVQ etc.) are desirable but not essential
- Experience liaising with Engineering teams (Projects, Design etc.)
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to compose clear and professional emails and quotations
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- A proactive approach with the ability to use initiative
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable speaking with customers as well as managing internally
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
