The Job You’ll Do;
Leading and supervising skilled and semi-skilled machine operators to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality performance.
Monitoring daily team performance to ensure work is completed efficiently and meets customer requirements.
Ensuring operators adhere to production schedules while tracking progress and addressing any delays.
Planning and allocating resources effectively to meet production demand and customer delivery deadlines.
Monitoring jobs throughout the production process, adjusting schedules as required to achieve customer SLAs and delivery targets.
Maintaining regular communication and collaboration with cross-functional departments.
Attending and actively contributing to production planning and customer project meetings.
Developing, delivering, and maintaining operator training programmes, while onboarding and integrating new employees into the business.
Coordinating and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability.
Identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
About you;
Experience working in a supervisory/managerial role within engineering/manufacturing
Must be highly organised, structured, and flexible.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst keeping a calm, level-headed approach.
