MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our specialist manufacturing client in their recruitment for a CAD Technician to expand their current team. The role will focus on design work for a variety of bespoke engineering projects, for a portfolio of rapidly expanding clients.

The Job you will do:
- Carry out 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Interpret customer requirements and technical specifications
- Working closely with the project engineering team
- Making necessary design adjustments to fit bespoke client needs
About you:
- Experience/understanding of Airflow, LEV systems, vacuum/extraction or similar products is essential
- Experience working with sheet metal/metal-based manufacturing products is desirable
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Good communicator at all levels
- Able to work well in a small team, and liaise effectively with clients and internal departments
