We are currently seeking proactive and reliable Storekeepers to join our clients team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong organisational and communication skills who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role has the potential to become permanent after a 12-week period for the right candidate.
This is not your standard warehouse role — the successful candidate will need to absorb and retain technical information quickly, work independently, and liaise effectively with internal departments under pressure. Full training will be provided.
The Role:
* Accurately record deliveries, issues, and returns using the internal CFS computer system
* Match goods received with delivery notes and ensure accuracy
* Unload deliveries from suppliers and internal departments
* Ensure timely onward delivery of goods and maintain site security
* Issue goods to Engineering Department employees per request notes
* Maintain stock levels and complete stock takes as required
* Keep stores clean, tidy, and organised at all times
* Deliver fault materials to site (subject to driver training and insurance requirements)
* Participate in standby availability rota after training, serving internal customers with minimal support
The Person:
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace (essential – will be assessed at interview)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good customer service mindset
* Comfortable with using IT systems for inventory and reporting tasks
* Experience in a Stores or Warehouse role
* Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence
* Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety procedures
* Overhead Gantry Crane operation experience
* Experience using IT-based inventory systems
* Stocktaking knowledge and experience

* 07:30am to 15:30pm Friday
