The Company: MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected company based in the Hartlepool area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long-term position. MTrec are currently looking for people to start within the next 7 working days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period. The Role: * Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders. * Book in materials using the internal stock control system, maintaining accurate inventory levels. * Pick, pack, and prepare materials and finished products for production and dispatch. * Safely load and unload deliveries using appropriate equipment (training provided if required). * Operate forklifts or pallet trucks to transport materials between departments. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in line with company standards. * Liaise with production, quality, and logistics teams to support daily workflow and resolve any stock issues. * Assist in regular stock counts and inventory audits, ensuring traceability and accuracy. * Adhere to health and safety policies, wearing appropriate PPE and following safe handling procedures. The Person: * Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment (manufacturing experience an advantage). * Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. * Confident using computers or stock management systems. * A team player with good communication and time-management skills. * Forklift licence desirable (but not essential – training may be provided).
