MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Houghton area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long term position in production and assembly.
The Job You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate SMT production lines, including stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
- Load components and feeders according to production schedules and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Run and monitor SMT programs to ensure correct placement and soldering of components.
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections to verify product quality against engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot basic machine faults, feeder errors, and placement issues.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Complete production paperwork and record data accurately in line with company procedures.
- Work closely with engineers and quality teams to identify and resolve process or product issues.
- Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
