MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role:

  • Receiving incoming goods and checking deliveries against paperwork to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Moving, storing, and organising stock safely within the warehouse.
  • Picking and packing products accurately to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling and staging orders.
  • Operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely where trained and licensed.
  • Updating stock levels using warehouse management systems or scanners.
  • Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting stocktakes as required.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles in line with site procedures.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness across the warehouse.
  • Adhering strictly to health & safety procedures, including PPE and manual handling guidelines.
  • Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues promptly.

The Person:

  • Warehouse Experience
  • Manufacturing understanding
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and preferably has used warehousing software previously
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Ability to take & follow instructions

The Benefits:

The Hours:

  • Training Hours will be 08:00am to 16:30pm, £12.21 Per Hour. You will then move onto continental shift rotations.
  • 4 on 4 off 06:00 – 18:00
  • 18:00 – 06:00

The Pay:

  • £12.21 per hour during first few weeks training
  • £15.26 Per hour on shifts
