MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected engineering company based in the Team Valley area and are looking for people to start almost immediately.
The Jobs You’ll Do
- Operation of a counter-balance forklift for transporting products within the yard
- Updating computer systems with stock inventory
- Transporting products within the designated area with a counter-balance forklift
- Loading and unloading wagons with a counter-balance forklift
- Manually lifting products and placing materials within the warehouse
- Scanning items in and out of the warehouse with stock control systems
- Driving between sites within the manufacturing area
The role is approximately 80% stores-based updating computer systems and 20% forklift driving within the warehouse.
About You
- Must have a forklift truck licence and it must be valid (counter balance)
- Should be computer literate as the role will involve ~80% computer-based work
- Able to work both individually and as part of a team
- Able to start almost immediately
- Comfortable operating a forklift truck, but this will be about 20% of the role
- Experience with a reach forklift would be advantageous but not essential
