MTrec Recruitment is proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a Temporary Customer Service Representative to strengthen their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a growing business.

The job you'll do:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
• Respond to inbound calls and initiate outbound calls/email correspondence
• Process customer orders through internal record management systems.
• Manage customer expectations, advising on lead times, share product knowledge and alternatives available.
• Report and elevate customer queries to the Customer Service Team Leader as appropriate.
• Support other team members as and when required.
• Process orders
• Coordinate returns with the Warehouse
• Arrange private orders and take card payments
• Coordinate returns with the Warehouse and arrange replacements if required.

About you:

• Available for an immediate start
• Relevant recent experience in a similar customer-centric environment.
• Robust to receive challenging calls
• Able to deal with / manage and diffuse conflict via phone and email
• Basic problem-solving skills, and knowing when to elevate to CS Manager
• Proactive, not reactive - excellent account/order management skills
• Multitasking skills
• Has excellent communication skills, verbal and written
