Key Responsibilities:

* Perform MIG and TIG welding on various tube materials, including mild steel and stainless steel, ensuring high-quality joints.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
* Cut, bevel, and prepare tube ends for welding, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up.
* Execute welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
* Inspect completed welds for defects, ensuring they meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
* Maintain and calibrate welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Qualifications:
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with tube fabrication.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Familiarity with welding symbols and industry standards.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with orbital welding techniques for tube joints.
* Certification in welding (e.g, NVQ Level 3).
* Knowledge of welding codes and standards (e.g., ISO 9606, ASME).
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

* 07.00am till 16.45pm Monday to Thursday
