An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Hygiene Supervisor to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring high standards across safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll play a key role in the daily operations, working closely with both frontline staff and management to deliver consistent results and continuous improvement. Apply now for an immediate response! Shift Pattern- Monday to Friday AM- (06:00-14:00) The Job you will do: * To ensure that all factory areas in the nominated department are kept clean, free of floor debris & water by the day hygiene operatives. * Ensure that condensation is removed from all ceiling areas using condensation squeegees in a way that does not introduce a food safety risk to product by day hygiene operatives. * Run the basket washer and or wire wash/tray wash and ensure the correct temperature / chemical concentration using titration kits as completed by day hygiene operatives. * Ensure day hygiene operatives clean machines and table as required using the methods stated in the appropriate Cleaning Instruction Card (CIC). * Ensure PPE, soap and sanitizer levels are maintained by the day hygiene operatives. * Ensure cleaning chemicals are controlled and locked. * Ensure that chemicals are dosed correctly via the Dema units. * Complete allergen inspection and swabs after an allergen clean as completed by day hygiene operatives. * Ensure changing areas are kept clean by the day hygiene operatives, including cleaning boots and removing used coats. * Verify any cleaning records as required to ensure that they are completed in full accurately and legibly, and any corrections are authorized. * Ensure any deviations from standard are recorded and corrective action to bring back to standard are recorded. * Ensure records are handed into Technical Department daily. * Report any damaged equipment or machinery to engineering department via work request system. * Ensure cleaning equipment is kept clean and maintained in a good working order. * Present the hygiene management system to any site visitor / auditor as required. * Manage the nominated department hygiene operatives with relation to correct manning levels, holidays, sickness/absence, return to work. About you: * Proven experience in a hygiene team leader or supervisory role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. * Strong understanding of hygiene standards in food production and the importance of food safety, legality, quality, and authenticity. * Experience of working with cleaning chemicals and understanding safe chemical handling procedures. * Confident in managing cleaning schedules, hygiene documentation, and allergen swabbing/inspection processes. * Ability to supervise and motivate a team to complete hygiene tasks to a high standard and within set timeframes. * Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with technical, engineering, and operational teams
