The Job You’ll Do:

  • Manage electrical engineering projects from concept, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and programme delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Administer and manage contracts in accordance with contract frameworks.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, forecasts, and commercial performance.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes using Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports, financial updates, and performance metrics.
  • Manage procurement activities and subcontractor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and framework partners.

About You:

  • Proven experience managing engineering or electrical projects from concept through to completion.
  • Electrical qualifications are beneficial (NVQ, HNC, HND, Degree etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge and practical experience of electrical/electronic contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commercial management experience within engineering projects.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrable experience managing project budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
