The Company you will be working for;

MTrec Commercial are proudly representing out highly successful and reputable client on their search for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their expanding team on a full time permanent basis. If you feel you have the required skills and experienced required, then please apply for an immediate response!

The role you will be doing;

  • Arranging Transportation

  • Booking Cargo Space on Ships or Planes.

  • Providing Shipment Tracking and Updates

  • Resolving Any Issues That May Arise During the Shipping Process

  • Facilitating Secure Payment and Billing Processes for Shipping

  • Submitting and Providing Guidance on Shipping Documents

  • Consolidating and Deconsolidating Shipments

  • Compliance with Regulations, Safe Transportation, and Reliable Communication

  • You will be working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and on call on rotation applicable (1 in every 6)

About You;

  • 2 or more years of experience in the transport industry, preferably freight forwarding

  • Competence in working with Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook

  • Able to work under pressure and manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines

  • Enthusiastic team player who also has the ability to work as an individual

  • Good interpersonal skills for working with a range of colleagues and customers

  • General skills in maths and English

  • The Ideal candidate will be driven, proactive, customer focused and highly motivated with a confident telephone manner, have some sales experience as well as experience in the transport sector, excellent attention to detail and great organisational skills.

  • You will play a vital role in the development and retainment of new and existing business.

  • The successful candidate will have a proven history of working in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry dealing with road freight, sea and air freight experience is also desirable
