MTrec’s prestigious engineering client is looking to recruit a new Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate should be experienced, self‑motivated, and will be responsible for assisting the company’s clients with electrical design services. The projects generally have one to two months design periods and are varied in nature, giving the appointed engineer an ever‑changing and interesting range of design duties. The Job You’ll Do

  • Provide experience and assistance for the company’s design projects.
  • Establish working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the company’s clients.
  • Contribute to meetings with clients, the project team, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other related documents.
  • Projects include: LV Distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting, small power, fire alarms and detection, security, IT and communications, lighting protection, standby power supplies, earthing and more.

About you

  • HNC or above in a relevant Engineering subject, or equivalent industry experience
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides, and all‑round good practice.
  • Knowledge and experience within the Building Services, Civil/ M
