The Company
Our client is a market leading manufacturing company due to a sustained period of growth they are now looking to recruit a Development Technician.
The Role
- Lamination of exterior films using hot-melt adhesives and primers.
- Carrying out various material testing.
- Evaluating and analysing pigments and developing pigment formulations.
- Assisting with New Product Development and trials.
- Using accelerated weathering cabinets to test samples in simulated conditions.
- Will work on site 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm.
The Person
- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Polymer Science (essential).
- Knowledge of Colour Chemistry/Pigment Technology (desirable).
- Experience of working in a laboratory environment (desirable).
- Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car (essential).
- A clear communicator and self-motivated.
