Our client is an established and successful company based in Cramlington. They are currently looking for a Labourer to join their team. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.
The Job Youβll be Doing
- Manage deliveries into the factory ensuring all items stocked tidily in the designated area using FLT and other machinery as required
- Remove and appropriately dispose of unwanted materials and ensure all wastage areas in the yard are tidy and organised
- Be responsible for safely and correctly setting up and controlling/adjusting machinery and tools
- Maintain production and quality by observing machine operation, detecting malfunctions, adjust settings, replace worn blades
- Machinery check and full clean down at the end of the day, advising the manager of potential malfunctions and requirement for replacement blades etc.
- Breaking out of wood and other tasks to support the machinists
- Flexible and skilled to carry out low level maintenance requirements within the department
- Any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager

- FLT license
- Confident in using small hand tools such as drills etc.
- Flexible approach to work and tasks
- Reliable and responsible; potential key holder
