The Company
Our client are specialists in their market sector; they are now looking to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer.
The Role
- You will create the electrical and instrumentation system designs, technical documentation for subcontractors and prepares specifications for essential purchased parts.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, providing hands-on support and ensures robust electrical design, calculation and instrumentation in line with safety and performance standards.
- Review client specifications.
- Produce Electrical designs
- Produce Electrical calculations.
- Support installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Participate in FAT’s, SAT’s and site inspections.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Progress report and identify bottlenecks promptly.
- Contribute to a structured work planning process based on deadlines and time constraints.
- Co-ordinate with mechanical engineers to align design.
- Ensures accurate execution of designs and drawings within the agreed project schedule.
- Identify and undertake additional training as necessary to broaden your knowledge.
- Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing and analysing data.
- Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary.
- Providing timely and accurate information.
- The Person
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience in an industrial electrical engineering environment preferred.
- Experience with electrical design software (e. g., Auto CAD, EPLAN, Inventor).
- Understanding of power distribution, control systems and PLCs.
- Awareness of IEC and NEC standards is advantageous.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop.
