- The Job You’ll Do;
- The ERP Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the organisations business ERP system and will hold the position of key user / power user.
- Analyse and translate business requirements into ERP system configurations and specifications.
- Collaborate with Group IT and Digital Transformation on all matters related to configuration and customisation of the ERP system and ensure alignment with the organisation's specific needs.
- Lead and develop training programs for both key users and end-users to ensure they are proficient in utilising both legacy and new business systems and functionality (e. g., ERP Cloud).
- Attend Group ERP training and conferences as key user / power user.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users and offer solutions to maximize user efficiency.
- Support key users in specific end user training sessions.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of existing ERP system and future migration to ERP Cloud.
- Enter new parts into ERP system determining their product type e. g., Purchased, Manufactured, Subcontracted or Cost items and complete Bo M’s, Routings, Rates etc.
- Update Bills of Material (Bo M) and Product Configurator (PCF) matrix for generic and manufactured products as required.
- Plan, maintain and troubleshoot daily usage of ERP system across all functional areas to include Logistics, Warehousing, Production and Production Planning (e. g., maintenance of warehouse data).
- Updating ERP system with sales price book information / revisions.
- Approval of engineering drawings utilising an engineering drawing control system (Keytech) and updating the ERP system accordingly.
- Execute system upgrades in alignment with local and Group IT requirements.
- Lead systems and application testing at a local level in collaboration with Group IT and Digital Transformation to ensure a clean go-live implementation.

About You;
- HNC or above in Computer Science, IT, Math, Manufacturing or related discipline.
- An excellent communicator who can develop relationships both locally and internationally
- Experience within the engineering/manufacturing industry, liaising with Warehouse & Production teams
- Participation in at least one successful ERP implementation, preferably INFOR LN within manufacturing/engineering or factory-based business.
- Project management skills with a history of successfully overseeing business system implementation and upgrades
- SQL skills and experience
