The Company is proudly representing our engineering client in their search for a Welder Fabricator.
The Role involves fabrication and welding of products in an engineering environment, ensuring accurate fabrication of all components to engineering drawings, maintaining the highest quality standards, and good housekeeping. This is a permanent role, working 37 hours from Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Fridays.
The Person must be time served with proven experience as a Welder Fabricator. Experience in manufacturing medium to heavy engineered steel products using MIG processes to a high-quality standard is required. Excellent fabrication skills with experience in fabricating small and medium sized assemblies, using basic fabrication skills including forming and bending, are essential. Additional requirements include:
- Ability to use overhead cranes
- Ability to use oxyacetylene burn
- Ability to use forming equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good housekeeping
- Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
