The Job You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair in-press tooling breakdowns, carrying out effective die and tool maintenance to minimise production downtime.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on dies and tooling to maximise equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Identify and resolve pressing quality issues promptly to maintain product quality and minimise waste.
- Carry out welding activities using TIG, MIG, and ARC welding techniques as required.
- Undertake general bench fitting, repair, and assembly work to support tooling maintenance and production requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and ensure full compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct root cause analysis of tooling and production issues, contributing to corrective actions and continuous improvement.
