The Company
Our client is a market leader in their field; due to growth they are now looking to recruit and IT Support Technician to work on a full-time permanent basis.
The Role
- You will deliver effective IT support across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and support to managers on a wide range of IT related projects.
- The person will be responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day IT operations, duties will include:
- Resolve and elevate IT incidents and change requests.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the network.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
- Daily checks and maintenance procedures such as ensuring backups have been completed.
- Assist with new starters/leavers and support desk moves such as PCs and phones.
- Raise external support calls with key suppliers when required.
- Complete IT projects set by management and assist other departments where an IT presence is required.
The Person
- Previous similar experience in an IT role.
- Demonstratable experience in the engineering/manufacturing industry would be beneficial.
- Excellent decision making and attention to detail skills.
- Positive, proactive and dynamic look for solutions to problems and ways to improve.
- Remain flexible in an ever-changing environment.
