This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is out of work or between contracts and looking for a fantastic short-term opportunity.

The Job You’ll Do

  • Ensuring a smooth continuation of Engineering operations over the next 3-6 month period
  • Leading the engineering and maintenance function.
  • Supporting with BRC and internal audits
  • Ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Delivering preventative maintenance and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Managing engineering projects and capital investments.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry safety, quality, environmental, and health & safety regulations.
  • Supporting production to maximise efficiency, minimise downtime, and achieve operational targets.
  • Developing engineering teams while controlling budgets and driving operational excellence.

About You

  • Experience as an Engineering Manager or similar within FMCG, Food & drink or Food Packaging manufacturing
  • Ideally HNC qualified or above (not essential)
  • Experience managing BRC audits and adhering to the relevant standards
  • Available to start with little notice
